This is a great picture. Calculators can give students answers to mathematical equations but they can also give students the wrong answer. They can give the wrong answer if students do not enter the equation into the calculator correctly which can lead to many misconceptions. Students need to learn how to properly use calculators to be successful with them and give them their max ability to preform.
Growing up I was never very good at math and is still not my best skill. I remember in math classes they would rarely allow us to use calculator and ask us to show our work. The teacher would tell us we were only cheating ourselves if we used calculators. Maybe in some ways I did because I would have been able to add multiply and divide faster or maybe it was just never meant to be one of my strong points. So for me its not cheat its aiding in my learning.
